Pickards Mountain - I

Pickards Mountain is a community of residents, staff, friends, and visitors on a 350-acre piece of land in central North Carolina. The community at Pickards Mountain seeks to establish a "mutually enhancing relationship between humans and the Earth," and share the principles and practices of that relationship with the broader population of the state.

This video, shot in 2005, features interviews with most of the residents and staff and provides a snapshot of what the commnity was at the time and what it dreamed of becoming.
