i really had vague ideas about Islam, but i watched this movie recently - Khuda ke liye, an eye-opener! I mean all these petty issues anti-music n all, it forces ppl to think Islam is a highly conservative religion. When actually its not; its a way of life just like Hinduisim!

1. Every Haram thing has more attraction, Drinking has more attraction, Sex and all sexual acts have more attractions, Music has more attraction .... all haram acts have more attracdtion my brothers

and the 2nd reason is ..

2. Our most Mullah are not practising .. otherwise , if you just listen Quran from a practising person .. you will feel more attraction and effect than any other thing in universe.

@blooddye : yes ! agree ! that movie is a real eye opener ! i am not a Muslim ... but i do not believe that any religion in this world teaches you to be violent , kill , sin ! some followers have taken up non relevant issues under the name of Islam to make it look like a conservative religion !

Most hadiths attributed to the prophet are fake. There is good reason to ditch them all. Music and singing are notharam in Islam at all. The law comes from the Quran and from nowhere else and Quran doesn't prohibit music.
