I only breastfed for 8 months for health reasons, and toilet trained the "normal" way with a potty at 1.8 years... my daughter has never been given antibiotics in her 3 years of life because she has never needed them... so I don't know if extended breastfeeding is exclusively responsible for good health or not. However I experienced persecution from natural parents for stopping at 8 months. Breast milk or no, my girl is healthy and has never been ill or needed medicine.
My daughter is 4 years old and I never breast fed her, she has yet to get sick besides a bout of pink eye. Breast feeding may help but it's really all about what you expose your little ones to.
My daughter is almost 4and almost fully weaned out.(attaches 1-4 times per week) She has NEVER been sick. Breastfeeding mom's pass antibodies of all her past illnesses to their child plus new antibodies fighting current diseases. Nothing short of a miracle.
You can't prove it was the breastfeeding but you know it deep in your heart that it was. My wife and I had the worst flu(high fever, body aches, constant cough) together at once when our first child was months old. One of those times you are so sick and you remember for the rest of your life. He did not catch it. He never got sick until we stop breastfeeding at 2 years(due to pregnancy). My son just got low fever when teething, slight congestion/running nose),etc. (while breastfeeding)
Every situation is different. I breastfeed my son, and he has been sick and on antibiotics. I do agree with your extended breastfeeding, and its so positive to see videos!
My mother didn't breast feed me. I've always had the worst allergies, so I sometimes wonder if that hand anything to do with it. i noticed you ladies making colloidal silver in another video....did you use it while nurising your babies? I've been making my own for two years now.... and since don't have to worry about colds or flu... Your videos are inspirational & helpful to young mothers! xo <3

"In secret" isn't because she's ashamed of the stigma, it's because she's a pedophile.
