Ya know, I've been at Ole Miss now for two years and have yet to witness,read about, or watch on television, a hate crime or anything of that nature. The Klan came, big deal. They got booed away. Don't assume things.

I am against the chant. It is secessionist in nature. But the above is what students are discussing in class. I'm a student who voted to get rid of it, but most students, by my observation, don't seem to care that much. There are just two different yet vocal opposing minorities. The majority of the student body doesn't care. The chanters have an assertion and a coherent rebuttal. Read my other posts and you will see I am against the chant. Saying 'BS' doesn't make their notions go away.
