I think it's funny that people are trying to complain about this because he is "slapping" or whatever. Who cares how the sound is made, worry about how the sound SOUNDS. It also makes no sense when people try to defend the "slapping" by saying "well he can play normally too" but when someone like Buckethead comes along and absolutely dominates the field of "playing normally" people want to turn around and say shit like "well he is too technical".

Miyavi doesn't just do slap guitar people.
So what he plays guitar like a bass, every now and then.
Doesn't mean he can't play guitar normally, he does it a lot actually.
He's pretty nice at it; creative and good.
And this video is five years old.
He's changed... a lot. Not in a bad way, or anything.
