I am overweight, yet I took no offence to your comments. I imagine that if you met me, like the sales assistant you mentioned, you would be as socialable, charming and polite as you would to anyone else. However, if I was scoffing down a greasy hamburger while complaining about being overweight (which is what you referred to), then you have EVERY reason to get annoyed! I get just as worked up about the very same thing! So Bob, please don't let comments affect your future vids and the editing

As a semi-overweight teenager, I don't think you meant any true offense. I agree with you that obesity is a problem, especially in the USA (where I live).

However, I think I can state from what I've seen that you are a generally nice and polite man, and I am sure that on an individual level you'd never mean to upset any heavier-set person with your opinions.

Your rant AND your apology prove your human-ness. Thank you for sharing both sides with us all.

@20 I was a size 10. @ 25 a 6. @ 35 a 16.

I'd say about 95% my fault (depression & meds that go with do factor in to this).

Some truly are genetically predisposed.

Some can't afford to 'eat right.' here fruit & veg are expensive.

Cultural norms (ie McDonalds vs traditional meals in, oh say Asia) are also factors.

I love all these commenters who can only speak/think in absolute terms.

People are overweight for many reasons.

Personally, I'm about 40-50 lbs over my medically ideal weight.

That's because of the crap I eat, my laziness regarding exercise, my laziness regarding putting forth the effort to make healthier food (vs warming up a HotPocket), eating habits (boredom eating/comfort eating) and lastly, my clinical depression (sucks out energy and tends to make me apathetic about everything, even my he
