i don't really know about that...it looks like the dudes knee is blocking him from getting into position for that armbar + he is tilting down. i dunno maybe he can pull it off.

totally agree...im in the same bout BJJ is amazing, i love Muay Thai but BJ is on a totally different level....although i do miss the stand up striking

The guy makes a good point that there really is no escape to a tight triangle. Gotta stop it before it's closed up

im a white belt in bjj and ive had several ppl do that to me you just put your head to one side and pull them over you, or u can twist your body knocking them on there side, or if they try and walk around you then you just grab there leg, but yes it does somtimes work but i would'nt say its the best counter

he is not my formal professor, he is a teacher from whom i learned a lot of techniques and worked with a lot, kind of like an adjunct
