That is a Brown Bullhead, they have many alternate names. Where I grew up, we called them mudpout. A Burbot is actually an entirely different species, that is also commonly called a Ling.

It looked like a plain old bullhead to me, not a burbot. Unless barbut is another name for bullhead. Burbot don't have real long whiskers like catfish or bullhead, just a couple of short ones under its jaw. They don't have spikey side and dorsal fins like catfish or bullheads do.

@jerazima ya a barbut is bullhead in french i just cant say it with a french acsent so it sounds like its english.
