Sweet Misery is a close examination into what many in the medical community have voiced over the last few decades on the safety of Aspartame sweetener. Is there a connection with Aspartame and illnesses? Did the government (including Donald Rumsfeld) push the approval of the sweetener and suppress key data? This film delves into the FDA's process and the various reports of health risks associated with the widely used sweetener.

  • I have proof that this Documentary is 100% correct.

  • Great documentary. Also check out the video lectures of Dr Russell Blaylock on MSG, aspartame and nutrition and the brain. Oh, and the Truth in Labeling dot org site for further info.

  • Everyone, I mean, EVERYONE should watch this and then refer it to their friends and family. Post it to Facebook, Twitter and everywhere you can. PEOPLE NEED TO SEE THIS AND KNOW THE TRUTH.

  • That lady did kill her husband! you can see right trough her.

  • New Video Digital needs to team up with New Audio Digital.

  • Spry makes a great gum that uses xylitol, which is good for your teeth.

  • I am certain as well. What is so tragic is that if your mother only used stevia she might be alive today. Stevia has no calories and is an herb. That's pretty harsh that she would actually dump packets of the stuff into her water daily. Maybe she was getting fluoride in the water as well, making an extra lethal combo. And the FDA is pure evil. They want to kill us all. They are not protecting us. They work for the corporations, as do all government agencies. The only solution is smaller gov.

  • That is correct. The only chewing gum with sugar in it is bubble gum, such as Bazooka. Every gum, no matter if it says sugar-free or not, has aspartame in it.

  • Are there any gums that are made with sugar? I use to chew wrigleys doublemint years ago when it had sugar in it. The only gum I can find with just sugar is double bubble.

  • Good info, great effort...BUT this needs to be edited down to be more accessible to more people. Some of the interviews are just painfully long when they don't need to be. Needs to be about half the length.

  • could some one please tell me 5-6 things they learned from the movie?

    and maybe the summary too?

    thanks you soo much.

  • My mother passed away in 2003 due to a brain tumor at the age of 59. She was a very healthy person. She ate a very healthy diet and exercised daily. She never smoked or drank. The only thing she did was drink water with lemon and Sweet N Low (aspartame) daily. I am 100% sure this is what caused her tumor. You can agree or not, but bottom line is that this chemical is bad for us. Do you really count on the FDA to guard you against harmful additives and food??
