  • when you get older like that, you automatically acquire some killer vibrato.

  • absolutely gifted and brilliant man.

first person to transmit live television images, but was deemed a top secret kgb tool and was never officially recognized for that.

we may have never seen bob moog without him.

  • Theramin is also one of the best spies of the Soviet Union.

  • @grimtim2 no he died november 3 1993

  • @fizmo909 Glinsky, Albert (2000). Theremin: Ether Music and Espionage. Urbana, Illinois: University of Illinois Press. ISBN 0-252-02582-2. if you can find the book it has reference to it. i assume you also found out about his other espionage devices, like the first micro microphone for wire tapping. hope this helps, i also wrote a report on him about 10 years ago for a theatre class.

  • @fizmo909 Really? i'm writing an essay about this guy. i've just done a quick search for something to support what you say but cant find anything :( I don't suppose you know where to find a reference? thanks

  • I wish Prof. Theremin was giving me a Theremin lesson ;) ;) ;)

  • Such historic footage!

  • I wish I could find anything around today that has this characteristic string/vocal sound! Clara's sounded much the same.

  • i want to play something scarey one one!

  • Hmmm, that could be why I have so much trouble with the low notes on my Etherwave. When I do manage to get down to the lower notes (I have to sort of angle the therimin on the table to do it), the pitch antenna goes whacko. I either need to make money and move into a bigger place where I can leave it set up permanently or my Etherwave needs an internal tuning. Right now both are rather beyond my means and will be until I can get a job.

  • you are such an asshole
