Not bad for a group that's just starting. Good luck!

Where are you from? USVI? I was in both St. Croix AND St. Thomas Rising Stars when I was a kid and I teach pan now in Maryland.

Guess what, I gotta feva, and the only prescription, is more cowbell!!!
-
u all need set n that
Cowbell drug. I have played this song at about 120-150 beats per min and it sounded more together. I know thats a huge tempo jump, but it may bring the sound together a bit more. You guys have a good sound. Bring out the Bass pans more. I can barely hear the bass line. The rest of the band is balanced. Where's the drumset?

check out our other vids to see us play it live. we were merely practicing it this time...and our drummer was out for whatever reason. I can't remember 'cuz it was over a year ago.

If anything, they need to get rid of the guy hitting the block. He's failing to keep the beat.

lol that's me. i'm supposed to be playing on the lead pan (in the live version you can find of us you'll see that i am) but we didn't have enough tenors at that point. it's hard to do when you're the only one who's counting the time among 8 people.

umm did you read the description? at this point we had only been playing for about 6 weeks, and most of the people you see here had never played the steel pan before. Are we as good as, say, the Pantonics from NY or the legendary Liam Teague? Hell no. But we've done a damn good job in a short amount of time. Don't be so ignorant and expect perfection from a group of first-time amateurs.
