Dee Dee Bridgewater's Malian Project - EPK Red Earth 2/2 (Official)

Daughter and wife of musician, Dee Dee Bridgewater grew up in the jazz and the black American music. Today, this same music has brought her until the crossing with Mandingue music, the traditional Malian music. This musical voyage, is also a spiritual journey and a search for her roots. The journey starts in Mali with the encouenter of Malian musicians, then goes through Paris for the concerts rehearsals, and eventually end in Bamako for the recording of the album.
