F14 a pile of junk??? Designed back in the early seventies and not a single one ever shot down. May have had some flaws and required a lot of care, but this was never a piece of junk. This plane single handedly made communism it's bitch!!!

@usaray Only an Army puke would talk crap about the F-14 Tomcat! Yeah it took a lot of hours to maintain it, but when it was in the air it was beautiful. Iron Eagle- Lame, Afterburn-about the F-16's defects. Top Gun was the single greatest recruiting tool for the Navy. Robotech- Yup the Valkeries were modeled after F-14's. The Falcon is cool, but the Tomcat came from the line of great fighters. VF-103 Jolly Rogers!!!!
