ALOO PARATHA RECIPE (for 6 parathas)
1-cup white whole wheat flour
1/2 cup water
Pinch of salt
Canola oil
POTATO (ALOO) FILLING
1-1/2 cup mashed potatoes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
1 teaspoon chopped green pepper

Really depends on if you have a gas or electric furnace and such. I've seen it helps me to start on high heat, then lower to medium-high and then finish off in medium heat after I put oil/butter in the end. For me as well, it tends to not be cooked very well if I do this on medium heat all throughout.
