cordobainitiative.org is the website for the Cordoba Initiative, a "multi-faith, non-profit .. organization" led by Park51 mosque Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf. Their website states that they "have no formal or legal connection to the Muslim Community Center that has recently been proposed for Lower Manhattan [which Center are they talking about?]". Their registration includes the name of a Visiting Assistant Professor of Judaic Studies at Brown University, Michael Gottsegen, while their address is given as a post box in Aspen, Colorado [let's assume that the Imam has a passion for skiing or snowboarding]. We also noted that the Imam's website shares virtual space with hardcore pornography, some of which appears to be child porn, such as oral-sex-xxx.net [is this the norm for Imams .. to share online space with child porn? What other examples of this are there out there?] What is concerning, however, is the complete lack of media coverage of this background information, even after some of it had been disclosed in May 2010, on a freerepublic.com petition.
