How to make a fiberglass fuselage, using the technique that I use for making the
fiberglass fuselage for the Fox, Swift, and Speedster 40 and 26 gliders, and my ME 163.
15 minutes for making the plug, and 20 minutes to put on the fiberglass.
After drying, sanding, filler sanding, filler and paint, filler and paint.
Simpel plan for the glider on RC groups:

  • Thanks again Speedster!

One last question. What weight fiberglass do you recommend for this process?

  • @Beulzabob I use 300 gram, then it wont get to thin when i sand it,

  • Great video! I'm excited about trying this. The tape you used after wrapping with the fiberglass...was that vinyl or electrical tape, or will masking tape also work fine? I want to make one use the lost foam technique. Nice planes!

  • @Beulzabob Hi, its normal electrical tape. its importent that its flexibelt so that it can follow the lines of the fuselage.

I tryid with masking tape, but its too stiff.

    Good luck
