Japan Part 16: Nikko Edo Mura (Final School Trip)

A little bit different from my usual video perhaps, but I like to think I did a decent job of it! But don't worry, I did manage to squeeze in a little rip slyme just to make life right again for you :p

This video was shot in Nikko at Edo Wonderland (or Edo Mura) and can be easily found by web search if you're interested in checking it out. It's a little mocked up village to let you experience what life was like back in the Edo Period, but somehow I don't think they stayed in period, I dunno. Somewhere between running into the shop with a glowing neon beer sign to advertise what was on tap, and the house of disco (aka - Ninja House of Mystery) I think I got the feeling that something wasn't quite edo. Anyhow, definitely a fun place to waste a day. I watched a few shows, played a few games, and ninja hunted (never did find the sneaky little bastard though). The scenery is amazing as well. In short go to Nikko! NOW NOW NOW!

I've finally managed to get the videos off my old memory card so I can at least slap together a few new videos with what's been recovered, this being the first of those videos! I hope you all enjoy!

Yeah i was kinda thinking that edo wonderland was kinda like the japanese version of the renaissance festival! You know you can even suit up in period clothing too once you get there? It costs money but not a lot. They have a whole list of things you can be, from common villager all the way up to geisha. They had guy's costumes too but of course I didn't have any reason to check those out :p
