Zimbabwe Water Hole

We sat & waited, & yet again our patience paid off as the herds came out of the bush for water, as one group left another came to the water with minor squabbles between the herds.

The elephants were now travelling many miles for forage as in the vicinity of water any food had long been eaten.
Lions would prey on the herds at night knowing they were weak as all awaited the rains.
