Community Project in Koh Phra Thong

Get an insight into one of our many great Planeterra projects, as STA Travel's Responsible Tourism Manager, Hien Tran visits the island of Koh Phra Thong to learn more about the local community, which was devastated by the tsunami in 2004.

It's Children's Day on the island, so expect a high level of cuteness, as we find out more about what the local communities on Koh Phra Thong are doing to improve quality of life on the island. We'll also take a peek at the work being done to protect sea turtles on and around the island.
