I'm on the fence between this and a Nook Color for my girlfriend. She wants a low-end laptop but I think a tablet would be best for her. But she is going to go to school soon and I think the Archos can hook up a keyboard, so it would allow her to type papers but the reviews on the Archos are kinda up and down. Not sure what would be best for her. Any help? Right now they are about the same price.

@TimsMovieRecords Yes you can install the full Google Marketplace, Angry Birds works perfectly, most of the 200 thousand Android apps work fine.

@dannleece LOL, the EVO is far superior to the iPhone 4 and pretty sure the iphone 5 as well. Crapple makes over priced mediocre phones and tablets. Don't worry, for your sake u can just pretend that the iPhone is better and keep your pride. Hahahaha. LOL

$299??? may be for 8Gig, ... 16 gigs are around $350.

@bittertruthnavin Yeah and 8GB MIcroSD is about $10, 16GB MicroSD is $22 and 32GB MicroSD is $80

@aanujj No other device does play 1080p high profile, high bitrates h264 in mkv larger than 4GB with dts audio, thus making those claimed "1080p" just unusable. Nobody want to reencode all their 1080p.
