This a short scene used only to illustrate different camera angles, movement and lighting set ups within one short scene. There is no story but this is one scene from a 3 scene short film experimenting and playing around with camera moves and lights.
Filmed on Sony Z1 using a Dolly, Arri and Dedo lights. Filmed in HDV, edited on Final Cut Pro Pulled down to 24Fps

  • camera shots are captivating. lighting is terrible!

  • I agree, at the time I didnt have any gels, softboxes or any for of diffusion, dimming the Dedos reduced the colour temp to much to mix nicely with the outide spill, I'm re-filming more stuff like this tomorrow though, this time with lots of gels sotboxes etc

  • Its an audio loop from Apple Soundtrack Pro, its a royalty free track, I'm not sure right now what it was called though.

  • Thanks, I got alot more experimental scenes in my head just gotta get around to doing them. There the sort of shots that don't have any meaning, just good for potential showreel shots etc

  • The Sony Z13 CCD £3000 camera? Hit Menu, scroll down to the the 2 arrows and select it, hit Format Record and select HDV, then your blue format lamp should change etc and it will say HDV1080i on your LCD
