Did Jamie Foxx steal Richard Pryor's joke?

Jamie Foxx's bit about the smells of Africa sounds a lot like Richard Pryor's take on the same subject 20 years earlier.

I think you have to consider that Richrad one of the few famous black people, at the time, who actually got to go To Africa and and come back to to "report" about it on such a grand scale. So he Does get the credit for laying the frame work for this bit. Now that experience, although not new, Is "traumatizing" to the senses and even with Richard Saying 1st, it impacted Jamie So much that it warrented a heavy reiteration and personal testimony as to why it is/was so important

Yeah...Jamie Foxx....is not funny at all...TO ME....stole Richard's joke entirely....but then again..when it comes to remakes & sampling of music, people steal anyhow...no more creativity....sad situation.
