@numantunak Yeah, that's right. 2000 machine in 2007? I don't get that. G4 Cube was already bad in 2000 that's why it has been discontinuated by Apple after one year ;)

Hej drbuk, I see it wasn't brand new unit from Apple. Did you buy it on eBay? I heard that this machine was pretty bad in terms on performance. In 2007 u could get an iMac. Betta value for money cuz u r gettin comp+display+peripherals. Anyway, great vid. I didn't know that u r so old youtuber ;)

@mikeecnips I know this comment is old but if your stilli n the market these old Cubes can be upgraded to dual 1.5 ghz G4's which are sitll very capable machines though the old PowerPC architecture is now outdated so that means no Snow Leopard or OS X 10.7 Lion, but for older music apps, games, and general computing, these cubes seem awesome! Powerlogix makes the upgrades

it would have been interesting if apple had kept up with this design instead of going to the mac mini. By the way DRBUK, i was looking for a mac on a budget and even though this system is a little outdated, what is your input on the cube as far as buying one over say a g4 imac?
