I'm studying to become one too. Another black female animator is one1syw, she's awesome too, check out her channel on here, she's doing an animated series too... search her I would love to learn more about you too. :-) I have started thinking about doing my own animated web series too. Good luck animating!

There is always a hater. I like it. I hope to see more. Notice those that claim for others to explore more of their African selves are very stuck up.

I love you guys! It's not often I find other black female animators like myself :3

Haven't you sold this YET? If not, I don't understand WHY not. If so, where can I watch it? This deserves to be on TV. The quality is so much better than the things currently on TV. You have def. left me wanting MORE.

This should be a actual cartoon! It's such a good concept and a very great storyline. I hope big things come in your future Gibbs Sisters!

...That's my observation, that you highlight the real world understanding of the foster care system, instead of creating a cartoon about what is needed & should be done...wait...my bad...yall trying to get this accepted in Hollywood or mainstream, right?
We already know what's wrong, why keep making it entertainment? Aint a damn thing lighthearted or entertaining about our children being in the system, so make it about coming home to that 'Crosby' family in the first place...stay sweet!
7, Thanks for viewing and for your comment--
Please know that we're always exploring and sensitive to our African Heritage and history, but the purpose of the series is based on a real-world understanding of the foster-care system and adoption in America for African American Children. "The Crosby's" are an ideal TV family model that we've all wished to attain at some point in our lives. And in reality, it's not what most children (black or white) come home to......

My observations are...
A 'White' social worker controlling where the little African girl is gonna live & with whom...hhmmm...real life huh?
The character was dopted by aliens who has a senior member that despises her, instead being adopted by a real 'Crosby-like' African family...hhmmm...WTF?!
Keep your artistry growing, but continue to explore your African selves. I suggest reading the writings of Dr. Frances Cress Welsing...One Love!

So the point of the series is no matter what your family looks like, or how many crazy uncles you may have (we had a few), what matters at the end of the day, is that you have a place to come home to where people love & care about you. And btw, the senior member who you referred to,Uncle Q, has tons of misplaced anger that is directed at all of humanity, not our main character Whitney..... he also dislikes ALL cats.

The series is a colorful and lighthearted reflection of the society we live in. And even though our main character, Whitney, is African American (a very smart, clearly identifiable African-American girl, we might add) the series is by no means a junior companion piece for The Isis Papers. At the end of the day it's for kids (and kids at heart) from all walks of life. :).

Actually, none of the above. They come from an as yet undiscovered planet--"Planet Z". They've vacationed on Mars before though, and love it! ;)
