The republicans have been remolding the federal judicial system in their image for years with the help of growing conservative think tanks. While the unorganized democrats continue to help form the perception that they are weak by capitulating so easily. Unfortunatly, it also hurts them when trying to convince americans that they can be trusted with national security. The republicans upgraded their game a long time ago while the democrats are still in the denial phase. This is just sad.

I'm an independant. Even so anyone with a functioning brain knows Bush was a rat. I tried to give the man a chance, but eventually the more I learned and the more I saw the dishonest McCain campain...until republicans start acting like their predecessors (Lincon was a liberal since republicans in his day up to the great depression were liberals) there's no way they'll survive.

@n2motocross Public Education is as good as the public force's it to be. If we want good government, education, roads, health care, etc; get involved, be heard. Don't rip someone elses ideas, unless you have better ones to offer.If you want to stand on the side lines and hurdle insults, that is helping no one.Do unto other and you want them to do to you. So what if thinin1234 has a frag statement. At least there making an effort. What's your excuse?

As a Christian I'm insalted regarding republicians wanting to cut this that and the other funding that has to due with Social Programs, Civil Rights, EPA, Human Rights. If you aint got money you aint anyone, Republican Mantra. Praying for the middle and lower classes.
