GETTING ATTACKED BY A GANG OF TRANSSEXUALS ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT
AT CARNAVAL IN WEST HOLLYWOOD

Saturday night, we were innocently shooting a segment of my Los Angeles nightly TV show "Poorman's Bikini Beach" (11 PM KJLA TV) at Halloween Carnaval in West Hollywood, and out of nowhere we got attacked by a gang of transsexuals. In the middle of the interview, I got smacked hard on the side of the head and pepper sprayed on the side of the face by two of the gang. My cameraman Alex Vasquez got pepper sprayed directly in the eyes. He couldn't see for 30 minutes. It was the most violence by far that has ever occurred in 10 years of shooting and airing more than 200 episodes of my show. Thanks to the crew at Mickys in West Hollywood and their security guard Matt for supplying Alex with bottles of water and cups of milk to help clear his vision. Twelve LAPD policemen were taking reports. Most of them were cool, but one was a complete dick, and very rude. It was a mess. The event seemed like so much fun at first, but with 200,000 people in costumes partying at Midnight, I guess anything can happen. My other cameraman, Jeff (Poorman's Bikini Beach Director) and Alex caught it all on tape, so I'll try to post it on the site today so you guys can see this.




Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd get beat up by a pack of Trannies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole thing seems kind of humorous, I'm sure, but you've got to wonder if someone could have pulled out a knife or gun just as easily.
