  • JUST SUPERB!!!!! SHE HAS BEEN ONE OF THE GREATEST!!!! and some people only know her for her renditions of spanish music. IS TIME TO KNOW THAT SHE HAS PLAYED MUCH MORE THAN JUST MUSIC OF SPANISH COMPOSERS. SHE HAD A LONG REPERTOIRE (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, impressionist, etc). SHE HAS BEEN ONE OF THE GREATES OF THE KEYBOARD OF OUR TIME!!!!! YEEEEESSSSSSS.

Also great rendition of the Tokyo String Quartet!!!!!!!

  • Lively performance - full of manic energy that is characteristic of Schumann.

  • Bellísimo!!!!!

  • 4:34 REEEEALLY DOES IT FOR ME

  • This movement in particular shows up a good pianist from an ordinary one in the very first bar. It's such an exciting movement, like the Brahms G minor quartet Mvt 4Miss Larrocha plays it well.

  • Agreed. Love that manic quality in Schumann. Full of contrasts, rumblings, airy flights, stomping, marching and pirouettes.

  • She is one of the greatest. Ms. de Larrocha inspired me to play. I had the pleasure of seeing her perform in when I was a child in 1983 ... one of the happiest memories of my life.
