@SuperKaraokeLyrics Separate companies are considering making Ice Station and Scarecrow. As of yet, there are no plans to make Area 7.

i think i read somewhere that no movie studio has seriouslly considered it until now (screenplay for 'scarecrow' being writing atm) because the epic scale and destruction would cost so fukin much haha.. i know theyve got cgi and all that but u can only take that so far.

i do agree tho the book would make a fine screenplay, going to be so devoed if they wreck the book when they do eventually make the movie

Seriously, it's hard to see why one of Matthew's books haven't been made into a movie yet. They wouldn't even need to write a screenplay; the book would do a good enough job by itself.

@DaClanker15 for memory Matthew Reilly sold the rights to Ice Station(or scarecrow i forgot) already but that company no longer wants to make a movie of it but won't give up the rights...
