@weaponeer I forgot that an empty AR15 mag could catch the shell casings through the mag-well; That's awesome. No more sweeping the range up after a session. I'd image that it's way more expensive than buying an FN 16.04" PS90 civilian rifle. Why do those semi auto, long-barreled P90s always say they come with a 30 rd mag? They actually make 30 rounders that are the same size as the 50 rounders to make civilians feel inferior?

I JUST BOUGHT this weapon Thanks

My choose for a pdw would be a sbr draco ak or a sbr 300 AAC Blackout ar-15. The 7.62x39 and the 300 AAC Blackout coming out of 8-12" barrels seams ideal for a pdw or cqb weapon.

Are the FN P90 mags a pain to reload compared to your normal AR-15 mags? With 5.56x45mm and .223" being so much more cheap and powerful, I'd say they more suit the average Joe. I would like to see higher capacity magazines for those .50 Beowulf AR-15s; That would be the ultimate personal citizen defense carbine.

@heat45jc - the 50 round P90 mags are not hard to load once you learn the trick.. lol the cart. turn 90 degrees during the loading process, so if you force it, it's hard, if you just slide them in it's easy. The PDW weapon class are compact nearly SMG class weapons. They provide power, nearly no recoil (great for double tap), and less over penetration. with the AR57 it's 50 rds, and can be setup to catch the spent case in an AR mag, this is not home defense, it's pro personal defense

Just a glorified .22 magnum. Compare the ballistics between the .22 mag and 5.7x28, virtually the same. Yeah yeah the 5.7 has better long range ballistics but how many people will use it past 100 yards. I'll take a .22 mag any day, better choice of weapons, ammo types and far cheaper.

@talon55130 The 5.7mm far surpasses the 22 Mag, in pretty much every way. The 22 mag 30 gr @ 2,200 ft/s 322 ft·lbf yet I shoot the S4M 28gr Aluminum Core HP Molly Coated @ 3,340fp/s 666 ft·lbf which you notice has 1000+ fps and double the energy. even the Mil Spec 55gr FMJ @ 2,300fps 660 ft·lbf has slightly less velocity than the 22 Mag 50 gr, but still has double the energy. I own both, but the 5.7mm is a joy to shoot

I guess it would be nice if you can get a hold of the good ammo. The ammo you can normally get in 5.7 kind of blows, lol. Great weapon if you are expecting to encounter lots of body armor.

@Jesses001 - I have been using 5.7x28mm from Elite Ammunition (ProtecTOR II 50gr Ballistic Silvertip 1790fps & S4M 28gr Aluminum Core HP 3,340fps) The S4M ran the best, and it's as good as the old ammo.. super hot, super accurate (which is why I use Elite Ammunition to start with)
