@bintasyllah "IMO, I DO think wearing hair naturally makes you BETTER than processed hair." I think I read it correctly. All I am saying is that as a natural woman myself I wish that there wasn't always a feeling of natural vs. relaxed. I wish everybody could just respect everybody's decisions about themselves whether or not they agree with them. I did not mean to offend you. Sorry.

@kplife2001 I'm not surprised that you think it's sad. I've been wearing my hair natural for 20 years. I'm 35. Wearing natural hair as a teenager in the 90s was HARD. It's funny that people get so 'sensitive' about how things really are. REREAD WHAT I WROTE. NOT WHATEVER IMPLICATIONS YOU INTEND TO EXTRAPOLATE. I said that natural hair makes you BETTER than processed HAIR. Do you think that relaxed hair via chemical treatment HAS the same value??? The chemicals are LITERALLY toxic. FACT.

I was transitioning for 51/2 months so far; my plan was to transition for at least a year before I did the big chop. After seeing your video, you inspired me so much that I went home after work and chopped my bra length hair right off. I love it and it is truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing your story; it is truly a spiritual journey and I feel a change going on everyday; with my hair and my inner beauty is coming to the surface. I am so excited and looking forward to what life brings me.
