The truth is no one will ever really appreciate firefighters. There will always be gruges between "voles" and career guys. Its all in fun for the most part, just dont let it get to you. as for MrOliverliver "300 firefighters" the truth is the number is down to approx. 100 Line of duty deaths per year. Lets not burry any more brothers then we have to.

@dezzyboy27 no you're an arrogant tool. Anyone who says firefighters don't risk their lives every day... well not every firefighter does cause, thank god, car wrecks, fires, gas leaks, and swift water accidents don't happen everyday, in every fire district. Training only helps give you experience on how too act properly. It doesn't prepare you for every situation. When yall need help we'll get the call, and we'll do our best to get your ass outta trouble. It's what we do.
I have been a firefighter over 20 years both civilian and military. On average 300 firefighters die every year. Heart disease kills more firefighters than any other cause but they are just as dead. We are exposed to smoke and other toxin that cause cancer. I know 4 firefighters who in the last 3 months who have been diagnosed with cancer. On average we live 15 years less than average people. Its not just the flames and the dangerous conditions that kill. Let everyone talk trash we know the tru
