Any true Adams fan would know his very own mantra that "The only thing consistent about HHGttG is inconsistency". Thus this movie is %100 in keeping with the history of HHGttG.

@ultimatenerd22 True, but there is a tradition of changing the story with Hitchikers - from the radio series (the original) to the books, to the TV series, and movie, they all have slightly different plots.
