@jeanguylouisbourg I don’t know. You see to me the game is very deceptive. It’s kind of like a wolf wearing a lamb skin.
It has that very optimistic DK1 paint job that only slightly hides a very ominous creepy theme.

@ChickenWing575 Actually the *BING* sound from the jumping Spider things is what sold the creepiness for me heh. OR THE MONKESY!
-
@QuellBC I agree. I still feel the same about the level till this very day.

That saw scared me when I was a kid; I loved the game, but dreaded this level every time I played through
-
@ultimateskater1987 Instead of having a saw level, there should be a SAW! level.
-
Isn't the same without the saw sound. made this theme so much more creepy and menacing.

@Storbein all three of the DKC games have their own unique feels,
DKC1 feel like an good old adventure, with a happy tone most of the times
DKC2 feel much more darker, just listen to the world map theme! and rightly so, you are after all, in enemy territory.
DKC3 has a mysterious tone to it, at first your just dropped there without much indication, the setting goes back to the happy of the first games but some levels and enemies got that small touch of creepy that make this game so enjoyable.

@ultimateskater1987 UHHHH... remember the vertigo who gaves you when you jump from branch to branch?
It's Ripsaw Rage. DKC levels tended to have alliterative names.
