Tenzing-Hillary airport movements

Movie recorded with Casio ex-f1 in 720p mode

stabilized & edited with final cut pro (movie still ' shivers' where excessive shake occurred).

This is my first serious attempt to get the cinema look in a movie. Compositing didn't work well with the stabilized footage, So I just used the intensity levels of the blacks, mids and whites to get the ' hard light' look. Other actions involved color correction (3-way), adding blur, grain, vignette and flicker (latter 2 not everywhere).

I would like to thank everyone who put free tutorials, tips and tricks on the net for free. Keep going guys, it has helped a lot! Another big hand to all who have inspired me with their movies!

What a GREAT video Bagagerat! 5 Starts and favourited! :o)

I just googled this Airport & was amazed at how short and wide the runway is. As I'm terrified of flying, this is one Airport that I will NOT be flying too! *lol*

This little mountainstrip is particularly popular amongst aviation and flightsimulator enthusiasts. Being an enthusiast myself, it was a big dream-come-true to actually travel there. As such, i enjoyed making making this little movie a lot :)

Excellent video! When the weather is good, this airport is not so bad. But in poor visibility planes shouldn't go near it!

@Nneka1963 you should look at a few other airports with weird aspects. theres SABA, Corchevel, st. barts, and Gibraltar

That is a superb video! Well done! I've landed in some tight airstrips over my years of piloting but this one beats them all hands down for being tight and challenging. More than once i made the sign of the cross when i was flying right seat in a Twin Otter in South America in the early 80´s. Your video reflect very well the environment inside the cockpit....landing or at take off.

I hope to travel there before i leave this world.............meanwhile...­.....tanks for posting a wonderful video.
