This rings true. Back in the day, in small market TV stations, staffers often did more than one job. I used to watch a small station out of Paducah, KY where the AM weatherman put on a grey mustache and engineer's cap and hosted the kiddie show in the afternoon. Looking back, I wonder how much Jack Daniel's was involved in that transformation. Ah, the days before cable.

@chalomirof63 yes i think so. but it was also a parody of SNL because at the beginning Guy Cabellero went "Live from Edmonton,it's Thursday Night" and Earl Camembert was the host of that, and at the beginning Robin Duke told him he had to wear a pig costumne for an upcoming sketch, only the next sketch was interrupted by Earl saying "sorry, the show is running long so i won't have time to wear the pig costume. good night"

These are from the Cinemax shows. Comedy Central briefly had the rights to the Cinemax shows.

Epic jacket/bowtie combination...pure Camembert.

This was not the only time that Floyd Robertson was revealed to be "Count Floyd" - if anyone saw the first "Monster Chiller Horror Theatre" installment which is up.

Hey, my lawn furniture!!!
i'm not requesting or anything but i hope you can one day find the sketch where SCTV pokes fun of SNL. Earl Camembert was the host. I can't find it online.

@Paulgr Haaa! Really sorry Paul; I've already gotten two strikes against me from Y.T., so I don't think I'll be doing any more uploading. (BTW, was the sketch you refer to a parody of SNL of "Friday Night", I think called "Thursday Night"???)
