'A Town Called Obsolete' is an obliquely upbeat and heartfelt plea for patience and faith in the face of indifference. Triana's voice is perfect for this mixture of longing and hope, smokey, beautiful and tonally perfect. Bonobo, meanwhile, hooks up dusty break-drumming, thrumming electric bass and a horn part that peaks at just the right times. It's another example of the understated brilliance and emotional weight that the pair have packed into Triana's debut.

On the single remix duties are taken care of by the hotly-tipped Mount Kimbie.

Video produced and directed by Mister McCarthy and DOP Christopher Sabogal.

  • What an amazing voice. So unpretentious and simply brilliant. I love R&B from the States; however, the Brits sometimes really recapture the pure, soul element that is sadly lost through auto tuners and gimmicks. It really should be enjoyed as something sexy, authentic and universal. Well done Andreya and Co.!

  • To do these "3-D" pictures, you have to use two (2D) cameras at the same time, or 1 camera, but you have to find exactly the same horizontal level for two photographs you have to take. First take left one, then move your camera about 6,3 cm (this is the distance between your eyes). Then you can use 3D Master Kit program to make digital 3D photo, but this guy in the video uses "glasses" for watching 2 photographs at the same time. We did this in our photography school. Great fun! :D :)
