"Look Back in Anger are a goth rock band from Hampshire, UK. The initial line-up consisted of Mich Ebeling (vocals), Jim Newby (guitar), Steve Butler (bass and keyboards) and Rick Butler (drums), who got together while A level students at Havant College to create a musical version of the eponymous John Osbourne play."

  • I saw them live about 20 times. Think the first time was at the Leopard pub in Purbrook in front of about 30 people, most of whom were pretending to be 18! Other memorable venues in the early days included the Waterlooville Community Centre and Waterlooville Football Club. But later I saw them at the Brixton Ace, where they were indeed Ace. Fab band.

  • GoThic Rock ♥!

  • Great band, never saw them live but did see Jim newby play with The Fifteenth and Splashpool, lost touch with jim in the late 80's always wondered what happened to him, Great guitarist and a top bloke!
