What I try to do when Im being criticized is to dispationaly figure out if there is a point to what is being said. Also its helpful to consider the source I mean is this person being helpful or hurtful it does not matter their intentions. Try to have a fair and balanced view of yourself and others.

You go girl! My thoughts exactly. About the Christian, part, I'm not Christian but I hold Christian qualities. I'm more of a Buddhist, Wiccan, Taoist and a Christian all rolled into one. God or Goddess or Universe or Higher Power...as long as you do good, love the right way, be true to yourself and to others, stay strong, do good unto others as you would want others to do to you...than you good to go. And the ones who talk shit...they love to stir shit; they're desperate for the attention.
