Reid Scott is an actor and writer, best known for his role as Dr. Todd Mauer opposite Laura Linney on Showtime's The Big C. He attended Syracuse University before moving to New York City to pursue his acting career. He has starred in several Off-Broadway productions and has had roles in television shows such as Bones, CSI, My Boys and That 70s Show, among others. He was also recently cast opposite Julie Louis Dreyfus in the HBO comedy pilot Veep. Reid is an avid guitarist and an expert downhill skier. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
