WADE signed his first recording contract at age 15
and has continued to make his living, both performing
and recording, for enthusiastic crowds big or small.

After graduation in 1975, he began playing with popular
Gulf Coast acts including Rockin' Sydney,
Everette Brady and Charles Mann.

He became a member of Wayne Toups' ZYDECAJUN
in 1987 and traveled to Central and South America.

Contributing guitar playing, background vocals and songwriting
(co-writing "ZYDECAJUN TRAIN") to the bands debut Mercury Records release "Blast From The Bayou", he toured with the group throughout 1989, which included a support slot with CAROLE KING, performing nightly for thousands of fans.

In 1991, he undertook his first self-produced project
"Louisiana Style", which included 5 originals and 5 cover songs on a USIA sponsored tour later that year.

A renewed relationship with producer Eddie Bodin
and former ZYDECAJUN bandmate Rick Lagneaux,
led to a new recording agreement
and the release of 2006's "the blues got me".

On this night I had the privilege of video taping him singing some old songs. Here is one of many.
