PLEASE READ THIS - This a clip from "I Giganti della Tessaglia" (The Giants of Thessaly [1960]), one of many variations on the story of Jason and the golden fleece. This one, however, predates the famous Ray Harryhausen masterpiece, "Jason and the Argonauts" of 1963 (see Sixties Cheesecake Dance No. 2). However, I suspect the later inclusion of "The Argonauts" in brackets in the title sequence is a feable attempt to establish an association with that great film. The principal dancer in this number is Alice Clements.
This film was directed by Riccardo Freda and starred Roland Carey as Giasone (Jason); Ziva Rodann as Creusa; Massimo Girotti as Orfeo; Luciano Marin as Euristeo; and Alberto Farnese as Adrasto.
I am always looking for new ideas for this series. If you have any suggestions please don't hesitate to drop me a line.
@sternumagnum Yes, serious cheesecake is topless. But YouTube may not welcome it.

There is a version where the dancers have their tops bare. I guess it's impossible to find.
