Ian Banks hat-trick for Barnsley

A brace from Roonie Moore at Millmoor was not enough to prevent a Barnsley victory with a hat-trick from Ian Banks.

Rotherham and Barnsley were battling it out for a promotion place when this game was played with both teams promoted the previous season with Rotherham as champions. It was also a good Rotherham side with Ronnie Moore and John Seasman in their team.

What an atmosphere - Rotherham Urd 2 Barnsley 4. Glavin added a fourth in injury time.
