@forrykid Of course it's exaggerated. Anyone who doesn't realize that needs a little help in understanding realism. However, as you noted... Children CAN be influenced, so the message is why even give them a negative image to be influenced by? Be amazing. Be a good person. Help out your neighbor. Let your child see that. You'll be a better person for it, and they'll hopefully be a better person for it too.
That's the message.

I wasn't being negative.
We all have "Pet Peeves" and mine is this kind of message.
Children CAN be influenced, yes, but ONLY sick, weak-willed children.
It's a VERY egotistical thing to think that our children are little Xerox copies of ourselves.BUT THEY"RE NOT!
They are THEMSELVES and kind parents can raise psychotics and completely psychotic people can produce sweet children.
I have NEVER seen what that commercial shows!
It was a MAJOR exaggeration!

@horitipop Whats the difference between a women getting beaten up and a dog getting hit by rocks? Both are being abused so I see no reasons to have a set of priorities in between a human and a animal. I feel for the lady, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't feel sorry for the dog as well. :o
