This is a 4 minute highlight of the Civil War Encampment that occurred at Historic Fort Wayne in Detroit, Michigan the weekend of July 7. The footage was captured by the Program Source International for use in the upcoming video documentary (their 24 program on Michigan History since 1994) entitled "Michigan in the Civil War", which will be released on DVD in the Fall of 2007. Our websites: www.program-source.com and www.michiganhistoryvideos.com A special thanks to all the participants, the Historic Fort Wayne Coalition, and the City of Detroit Recreation Department. This is "Historic Fort Wayne", an actual fort from the 1840's right off of downtown Detroit and the Detroit River, not the city in Indiana.

I'm in this a few times. Not many reenactors are young enough to effectively use the youtube or the internets.
Ft. Wayne is the coolest, and littlest known place in Michigan. Everyone should go check it out, especially during one of it's many reenactments
