Ibanez SR 505 demonstração do timbre by Leomezz

Esse é um Ibanez SR 505 de 1995, não é o da foto. Tem captação ADX5, da ibanez. Hoje eles usam Bartolini.
Gravado no PC. Usei Reverb até a metade do groove, depois tirei e, ao final, um flager. Não tem compressão alguma, nem equalização. Pluguei direto na placa do micro.

@leomezzz caramba, sério? MUITO bem preservadas então... vc lembra quais eram as cordas? tenho um ibanez SR535 (é o mesmo baixo, só muda a cor) com DR Hi beams e o timbre nao brilha tanto assim :P

Besides my cheep Fender Squire, this is the only bass I got, and it rules.

@theshaggyshow the purpose of a 7 string guitar is the exact same as a 5 string bass: added low range

now i will say that the 8 string guitar is a pretty gimmicky idea although it is pretty cool to hear a guitar go that low

@theshaggyshow the whole point of a 6 string is for the added high end and added low end

you man think that the high string is useless but it really isnt. it allows you to reach much higher notes on the bass that will help you cut through the mix if you were to solo. the six string also has a tighers string spacing which makes technical playing much easier. one could also argue that there is no point in getting a 5 string because you can get a really thick e string and tune it to drop b tuning
