Drop The World by Lil Wayne (feat. Eminem) - Rock Cover

A sketchy recording of a rock cover of an awesome song. Sound quality isn't amazing, but then I was using a laptop, a very small guitar amp, and the voice memo app on my iPhone...

The solo isn't perfect, but I'm not a lead guitarist.

METHOD:

There are two layers of audio here. I played the original track from my laptop through a mini-speaker (x-mini speaker, very very good, and powerful, for an extremely low price) and played the rhythm track through an amp. My iPhone was positioned to record both audio sources. After several attempts I had a recording where the levels were good.

I then emailed this track to myself, opened it in iTunes and did exactly the same thing, recording the lead track over the rhythm and original through the mini speaker, using my phone. Hence the sound quality!
