# 3 Our Question & Answer Period And Barracks Tour. Parris Island Tour 7-29-10 3.MPG

A group of us took at tour of Parris Island, SC where they make Marines. It was organized for depot spouses and authorized patrons only. I am one of the lucky retired Marines that got to go on it. It was a very interesting tour which took us to the famous "Yellow Footprints, Receiving Barracks, a recruit squad bay, confidence course, The Crucible, and the chow hall for lunch. It was a great time and very informative. This is of the recruit barracks and the first speech by the DI to their new recruits. I have 14 videos of the tour to post. I hope you enjoy them.

man.. ive been outta bootcamp for a while but those civies talkin while the ssgt is talkin drives me nuts. not only is it VERY disrespectful in the military, but it's just disrespectful in general, especially when you come to learn at his house. 'nuff said.

Seeing these people act so un disciplined in the squad bay makes me nervous, and stiff. Just a few months ago I was at MCRD SD. Lol damn, so undisciplined.
