  • this miiight have made the difference between local and global variables clearer:

    "var girl = "kelsey";

    function spit () {

    var girl = "nicole";

    document.write(girl);

    }

    output();

    document.write(girl);"

    if you predicted that the output will be "nicolekelsey" you have a decent grasp of local and global variables. :)
