Elliptic Engine
The elliptic engine works on 4 stroke Otto cycle principle. However, the cycle is completed in 360 degrees. The first prototype has been manufactured and proved workable. And the problems related to the first prototype have been determined. It has been anticipated that by eliminating the problems that affect the running of the first prototype, some advantages for the second prototype could be obtained such as improved manufacturing economy, increase in the mechanical efficiency and decrease in the specific fuel consumption. Furthermore, the patent application of this new engine has already been made.
Bu prototip, Gazi Üniversitesi Endüstriyel Sanatlar Eğitim Fakültesi Endüstriyel Teknoloji Eğitimi Bölümü Yüksek Lisans tezi kapsamında Nadir AKSOY tarafından üretilmiştir. Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri (BAP) tarafından desteklenmiştir. Proje yürütücüsü olarak Gazi Üniversitesi Otomotiv Anabilim Dalı Öğretim Üyesi Dç. Dr. Yakup İÇİNGÜR görev yapmıştır. http://www.nadiraksoy.com - aksoynadir@gmail.com
I understand everything and agree with most of what you have to say, but shouldn't the inventors be trying to find a way to create an engine that could possible be able to run with out a fuel source? I know a lot of people say it cant be done, but look at history if nobody ever followed through with their crazy ideas that were said to be impossible then we wouldn't have 3/4 of the things that we do today.

Inventors in this catigory should keep in mind that the objective is not just to make a new revolving machine , the objective is to make a revolving machine which produces more power and consumes less fuel compared with existing internal combustion engines . Such a machine should also have a cooling system , a lubrication system and a wear compensating system so as to ensure its long life . For a failed example , the wankel needs an overhaul every 50000km and consumes more fuel. This isn't a game
