Also in the first photo.I have a baby pic of me smiling/sitting on his lap. Picture this, a real brown skinned bb sitting on what appeared to be a white man's lap.The Mosleys, are buried mainly at the John Wesley Church including my mom in Thompsonville D.E. The Mosley Road is named after us. My dad is buried at Arlington Nat'l Cem.It is weird now to view both spots where my parents/cousins /grandparentsUncle/Aunt are buried.
The very first pic is aman with the last name Coker. He is My grandmom's on my Dad's side, mom's Husband. He was not my grandmom's (Hazel Mosley)real father. She never knew her real father. She was darker then her mom and stepdad with brown skin with wavy hair. She lived to be 92. Much longer then my Dad and his sister. Who both ended up diabetic and died from renal failure very early 70's.We all ate stuff not good for us unknowingly! My dad's Dad/brothers all looked like Saddam Hussein/Indian
Dear Lord Please; I am a one of these people and please it has nothing to do with color it had to do with love! Stop all the crazy! Us multiracial, of many generations... Know that it is so not about color. I love every part of me. My children know all of our history and their children will . We leave out none and are ashamed of none. What you are, you are! it is about what you do with what you know! Make the ancestors from before and to come Proud!
If u study history more u would learn that these people was here before they brung slaves over from africa and they called there selfs moors cuz hey were related to the moors from Morocco moors has been travelin the seas way before any other race and at one time all the land mass was together and when it seperated people got stuck on diferrent pieces of land
This story is interesting but also sad because these people did everything in their power to distance themselves from the African slaves.... Understandable for "those" times but still sad.
This is my mom's side of the family. My grandfather is a Nanticoke/Moor. We all look just like that. People always ask me if I am Dominican, but I am proud to be decended from both the Nanticokes and African slaves
there was a lady there in one of the pics that looks like my son's grandmother from his father's side and they are from the Canary Islands which are on the west coast of Africa although it has been a Spanish region for many years. really interesting info
